Untiedt Research GmbH (UR), a company incorporated under German law, is holder and operator of this website Glaxes Private individuals can register voluntarily at consumer portal Glaxes to get invitations to surveys. The surveys are conducted by UR or third parties. For participation a compensation will be paid out under certain conditions.



The following data-protection provisions amend our participation conditions and describe the collection, processing and utilization of personal data or other data that are made available by the members of the panel.



With the registration at Glaxes the users agree to our participation conditions and data protection provisions. All servers with all stored data are located in Germany and are hosted by a German IT-service. UR complies with the German law on data protection (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz / BDSG) and realizes the Data Protection Directive Richtlinie 95/46/EG.



Data Security



UR has installed security measures to protect all information against loss, misuse or alteration. The online transfer of data implies nonetheless a security risk. To protect your data, keep your User ID and password safe and do not share it with anybody else.



Collection, Processing and Utilisation of Data



Personal Data



With the registration UR collects and stores personal data like name, e-mail-address, postal address, date of birth, postal code, gender, civil status and level of education. Further personal information to complete your profile may be provided on an optional basis. Furthermore, some surveys ask about highly sensitive data (like state of health, political opinion, union membership, sexual orientation, ethnic origin etc. The outlined data is collected and used for the reasons of market research only. The collected information helps to create a data base with persons who participate in online research. With this information we send customized invitations to avoid too many vain invitations. Data collected during a survey are analyzed in aggregated form and do not allow any conclusions to be drawn to individual persons.



Glaxes.com may share your personal information and/or social-demographic information, including, without limitation, a unique identification number (“UID”), postal code, region, province, gender, marital status, education, ethnicity/race (where permitted by applicable law), employment related information, non-personally identifiable information on household members, consumer product and service usage and ownership (e.g., computers, cars, mobile devices, video games, etc.), home ownership, pet ownership, employment information (e.g., title, role, travel, industry, etc.), and social grade, with third party sample/market research companies (individually each a “Third Party MR Company” and collectively the “Third Party MR Companies”) for the following purposes:



1. Identifying client survey opportunities that you may be eligible for through the Third Party MR Companies; and

2. Disclosing such data elements to clients of the Third Party MR Companies for audience measurement services; and

3. Appending such data elements to completed client surveys and delivering the appended survey data to clients of the Third Party MR Company(ies) for analytical or research purposes; and

4. Other uses as set forth in their privacy policy.

If you are eligible for a client survey opportunity offered through a Third Party MR Company, the Third Party MR Company will provide your unique identification number and a survey link to us and we will invite you to participate in the client survey through via E-Mail. We will not share your name, email address, or phone number with the Third Party MR Companies. In connection with the sharing of your information with a Third Party MR Company, your information may be transferred and stored outside of your country of residence, including, without limitation, in the United States, and by agreeing to this privacy policy you are agreeing to the processing and exportation of your personal information as set forth in this Section. Other stored data



Depending on chosen compensation, UR asks for PayPal-address or bank details. UR reserves the right to pass on this data to PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg or PayPal daughters or external service providers. UR uses this data only for the limited purpose of the transfer of the promised fee. Bank details will never be given to unauthorized third parties and will not be permanently stored. For this you need to include bank details with every order.



Automatically collected data



While starting a survey or our website, the user's IP address, browser version and information about the operating system are automatically recorded to identify and fix any technical problem. UR has access to all member accounts. The purpose is easier processing of user requests and quick solving of technical problems. Use of Google Analytics



This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Inviting New Members



Members of Glaxes can recommend the service to friends and neighbors. For this, the email address had been asked for to send a one-off invitation to this person. This e-mail is send by UR on behalf of the recommending member. The stored e-mail-addresses are not used for any other purpose than to invite new members and the data can be deleted upon request at any time. The recommendation outside the login sector works without storage of personal data.



Access To Member Account



All information the panel member makes available to UR, could be seen and actualized into member account. The member can ask UR about all available data. The member can end the membership and delete all data at any time by him/herself with the help of the “delete”-button on his/her account.



End Of Membership



If no more invitations to surveys are desired, you can use the “delete”-button on your account. Furthermore, in every invitation mail you find a link to end the membership. After the end of the membership we store all data for another two weeks before we delete them finally. All other ways to end the membership may occur delays of up to 4 weeks.

You have the right to request that we provide you with details about the personal information we collect, use, disclose and sell. Glaxes reserves the right to verify your identity to our satisfaction, including by asking you to log into your account if you have one.

You have the right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information or to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information by Glaxes. Changes Of Data Protection Regulations



UR reserves the right to update this privacy policy from time to time. The new privacy policy will be published on this page of the website. You will be informed by e-mail about any serious changes to the privacy policy.
